“There are those who claim that all of this will be dust, which is true, but if there is anything that I want to leave it's giving license to the general public to experience themselves better, to heighten people’s sensitivities, to leave memories, objects and documents behind—human shrapnel—that reminds people of themselves, their bodies and the world. Nowadays, it is getting easier and easier to forget about the world: what I am trying to do is keep people’s eyes on what is in front of them and who they are.”

“Art-making has never not been the center of my universe.” If Montreal-born, New York-based performance-artist and sculptor Miles Greenberg wields the medium of his physical form like a natural-born artist, it is only because he quite figuratively is one—pun intended. From attending the Venice Bienniale with his mother from womb into childhood, to fleeing formal education for the mentorship of renowned creatives Éduoard Lock, Robert Wilson and “second mum” Marina Abramović, Miles has been forging a lifelong path of creativity and creation that has led him to the upper echelons of the art world—where he very much belongs.
