Honnold Foundation
The Honnold Foundation was established to promote solar energy for a more equitable world. Founded by rock climber Alex Honnold in 2012, the Honnold Foundation funds solar energy projects around the world. We power our nonprofit partners with grant funds and expert advice to increase social equity, train local leaders, and increase disaster and climate resilience. We support solar because we know it’s uniquely positioned to improve peoples’ lives, reduce environmental impact, and empower communities to meet their own needs and address their own challenges. Our grant programs support big, innovative solar energy projects worldwide, and rooftop solar for BIPOC-led nonprofits in the United States. In Puerto Rico, we’re cooperatively-managed, locally owned solar microgrids to help communities fight back against the impacts of climate change. Our partners work in diverse ways, but we’re united by a common vision— a better, brighter world for all of us.
Wildlife Conservation Network
The Wildlife Conservation Network invests in a wide breadth of projects aimed at protecting a threatened species beyond a singular country and across its entire habitat. Their work includes the Elephant Crisis Fund which is supported by Knot on My Planet. Knot On My Planet helps provide a secure future for elephants by forging partnerships with fashion and luxury brands. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to projects on the ground, to end the ivory crisis. The campaign is a nod to the adage that tying a knot ensures you remember, and that an “elephant never forgets.” Knot On My Planet is working with Double Dutch to amplify support for The Elephant Crisis Fund and help end the slaughter of elephants for ivory. Knot on My Planet launched its first social media initiative on Sept 9th, 2016 garnering over 1.5 billion impressions via Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat and to date has raised over $11mm for the Elephant Crisis Fund.
Parley for the Oceans
Parley for the Oceans is the global network and organization where creators, thinkers and leaders from the creative industries, brands, governments and environmental groups come together to raise awareness for the beauty and fragility of the oceans and collaborate on projects that can end their destruction. 100% of every donation directly supports initiatives of the Parley Foundation, including beach cleanups and plastic interception programs, education and communication campaigns, implementation of Parley AIR Strategy (Avoid, Intercept, Redesign), and research and development to better understand and protect marine ecosystems from the intersecting threats of plastic pollution, climate change and overfishing. The Parley Global Cleanup Network has made an impact in nearly 30 countries and counting. Parley was founded to accelerate the environmental movement through creativity, collaboration and eco-innovation. The mission is to create a world where humankind lives in harmony with the ecosystem allowing for our survival — the fantastic blue universe beneath us: The Oceans. Every action and contribution makes a difference.
WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund
The WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund was created to help the World Health Organization (WHO) respond to COVID-19. It is the foremost way for individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations around the world to directly support the work of WHO and partners to help countries prevent, detect, and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially where needs are greatest. Money raised through the Fund can be disbursed at speed and flexibly, so it gets where it is most needed as quickly as possible. Donations support WHO’s work, including with partners, to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate research and development of a vaccine and treatments for all who need them. The Fund is aligned with the priorities outlined in the WHO COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan, outlining the global public health strategies to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The Fund was created at the request of WHO by the United Nations Foundation in partnership with the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation.
charity: water
charity: water brings clean water to people in need. Seven hundred eighty five million people lack basic access to clean and safe drinking water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick. Access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids. We work with local experts and community members to find the best sustainable solution in each place where we work, whether it’s a well, a piped system, a BioSand Filter, or a system for harvesting rainwater. And with every water point we fund, our partners coordinate sanitation and hygiene training, and establish a local Water Committee to help keep water flowing for years to come. We’ve been on a mission to end the water crisis since 2006, and with the help of generous supporters like you, we’re getting closer every day.

VOW for Girls
VOW for Girls is a growing global movement that partners with individuals, brands, and the wedding industry to end the international child marriage crisis. Count to three. 1...2...3... A child just became a bride. Twelve million girls a year, some as young as 8, become brides. VOW sees a world where no child is ever a bride, and every girl has the chance to live a life she loves. By raising funds and awareness, together, we can end child marriage in our lifetime. 100% of the funds VOW raises are invested in effective but underfunded local efforts that advance girls’ rights by providing education, job training, and vital life skills, so girls can own their futures. Over the last two years, over 175 community-based organizations in six countries have received grants, and 85% of those grantees are women-led organizations, directly impacting 260,000 girls. VOW for Girls is a vow for the future.
